I am thrilled beyond words that none of the giant robot/monster fights in the trailer appear to take place at night. That was my biggest complaint about the first movie (well, biggest complaint after dialogue and characterization): there were lots of potentially awesome fights... that took place in the dark.

the franchise wasn’t dead before they brought in the rock, but it was pretty much going to be direct to streaming. not to say the only reason its a huge global mega franchise is because of the rock.... but without him, it never even gets a chance to take that shot.
