Can we dispense with the notion that a higher “number” makes one a better lover? I’d be far more interested in someone with a few long-term relationships and thus a lower # than someone with 100 one-night stands. That seems like a no-brainer to me.

Makes sense that they’re even. If one person asks and answers, the other in conversation would likely follow suit.

He sounds sure of his attraction to women. Identifying with a different gender doesn’t change your sexual orientation. I just want to get the words right here. Is a trans woman who likes women a trans lesbian? That’s what I thought, but maybe I’m wrong. Or maybe the article is wrong.

But wait, if Bruce is a woman, and he has always been attracted to women, then how is that “straight?”

Well, that will be a good way to weed out some shitty “friends” at least.

Guilt is just an inherent part of parenthood. Welcome!

I’m not the person to ask, because I have a car. It’s probably a good idea to be ready for that situation....

Obviously not. But you will probably need a stroller or front pack carrier then. It’s good to leave the house sometimes.

I got married for $5,000, last year, and it was beautiful and fun and great. State park, friends with skills, and a little give on the non-essentials (and really, all of it is non-essential). Not that that is NOTHING, but it was one tax return. Previously, I got married for $250. Dress from Target, courthouse wedding,

You are right- it is insane. Baby needs a place to sleep and some diapers. A few pack of white onesies (summer born) or sleepers (winter born) and you’re good to go. On, and a car seat. That’s literally my shopping list right now. Except already got everything except the car seat.

Wow. You’re doing great! I have a heck of a time getting mine to put up their toys and their beds are just never made. Dishes are pretty automatic by now though- you win some you lose some. My 5 yo waters the plants and empties the trashcans from around our house into the big kitchen one. I think laundry duties will

Have you even seen Burn After Reading? That is Brad Pitt to me.

Does he know?

Yay! The proof is in the pudding: This weekend my daughter (6yo) wrote her first chapter book. It was about a scientist who invented a machine that could create anything from a simple seed. In one of the chapters she had a meeting with her boss pitching the idea. In another, she was driving around town and saw her

As my kids have gotten older, the weekend cram has forced me to force them to participate in the household upkeep, which frankly, I wouldn’t deal with otherwise. It’s so much easier and there are such better results when I clean the bathroom myself. I encourage you to let your daughter help out with some things around

I have an inkling that those 41% of people would self-identify as ‘very religious’ in a survey.

Oh I see. That’s still a unique perspective. I would like to hear if your wife feels the same way. Anonymously and independently of your perspective, based on my thoughts in the post above about a mom and dad’s experiences being different. I joke with my husband about how the language surrounding childbirth is “When

Thanks for contributing. You certainly have a unique perspective. You’re like a one-woman science experiment in parenting!
