I normally agree with you, triple-A, but this statement, “the U.S. has no moral ground to stand on these days,” in comparison to China, is pretty hyperbolic.
The only ones to get screwed will be China. They don’t have any homegrown processor technology that can compete with AMD or Intel. Good luck with that. AMD had a partnership with a Chinese domestic entity for producing licensed copies of the first gen Zen chips. But that partnership is apparently done doing it thing. Doesn’t include any of the following architectures, a don’t think it included GPUS.
