When I first learned that she was a Scientologist, a few years back, and read one of her letters to some fellow Scientologists (like a newsletter, or something), heavily dotted with the cult’s made-up terminology, it made me incredibly sad... I really liked her, and I lost a lot of respect for her. So I am so glad…

I think it’s really touching that she feels a guilt or a desire to “do the right thing” because she pushed the church so much. If you see her commercials from when she was younger, she is so idealistic about the church. She really had no idea what they do to people. I wish her success with all this.

Man, Leah Remini is really doing some outstanding work. I really appreciate that she recognized that she is probably the one person who can actually take down Scientology.
