It really does, doesn’t it? It’s tough to balance ideals and practicalities, but THIS was the time to step up, hold your nose (I didn’t have to—I support Hillary), and protect all of us from a man who is the epitome of everything “wrong” with America and the antithesis of our values.

Why do news media even have these “surrogates” on...they make for great “television,” but at the end of the day it’s giving a free pass for radical views/opinions to become mainstream while still allowing officials (and Trump) to distance themselves if need be.

Mine’s on my bulletin board.

I’d be for the girlfriend suing the casino—she’s the one who suffered harm here. Casino definitely exposed themselves to liability here—15 drinks is outrageous. But, dude, YOU drank the drinks and YOU beat and tried to kill YOUR girlfriend and YOU need to accept responsibility for that.

I’m hoping for a little student loan forgiveness next...

I see tears while stuffing his face with candy alone in a dark room lit only by a cell phone with no Twitter account...he’s going to make his waistline great.

I admire your willpower and self-preservation.

I hear you...I try to demonstrate my values by being kind, considerate, and respectful of everyone and working hard. However, when people do that thing where they say Trump-style stuff out the side of their mouth (wink wink nudge nudge) I politely tell them I disagree. While my circumstances are different (white

Maybe hold back a few bucks for treats for your puppy...I don’t know about you, but mine has been doing overtime as a therapy dog for me lately.

Yes yes yes. We have got to keep going and build a coalition—and we need to listen first...get the lay of the land and see where we can find common ground and work together to move forward. Thank you so much for your post.

I know right? I felt many, many times that she was talking to me. I hadn’t felt that kind of connection with another candidate before.

I’m still hoping the electoral college will go the way of the dinosaurs...hasn’t happened yet. I find it mildly amusing (well, maybe not) that the institution was put in place as a sort of paternal measure to “protect” idiot voters, yet in practice the purpose it serves is to frustrate the collective will of the

I’m glad I have photographic evidence of my vote for HRC.

Your post seems focused on the fears/concerns of those who voted for Trump. While those certainly must be taken into account (they made their voice heard yesterday), the quote you cite above is referring to the fears/concerns of groups who don’t support Trump (to put it mildly). I appreciate your excellent point

While I didn’t agree with her politics—growing up seeing Margaret Thatcher always inspired me. Recognizing, of course, I was an American child, so her decisions did not affect my life. My Boston terrier does look like her and will snatch milk from school children in a heartbeat, so she is aptly named Margaret

Similar situation with my father—and I was thinking the same thing...although in my mind it was more like, “[y]ou can’t complain Dad. You created this monster when you encouraged me to have political opinions as a child.” He gave me the skills and interest, but we are just not seeing the same things in this

Willie Nelson is just amazing. I love how he finds inspiration everywhere and has always had such diverse tastes both in the friends/collaborators and influences in his music. I mean who thinks to style their vocals for country/western audiences after Frank Sinatra? Willie.

You’re right...of all the types of harm women have and continue to endure this is a minor offense (compared to violent sexual assault, etc.), but for me this is worthy of coverage as it deals with the (formerly) less controversial nature of these types of activities. The world is changing, and while we all know

Yup—the only way they will survive is with exclusive content people want to read, hold, and own...why by the cow when you can see nude babes on the interwebs for free?

Let’s also not discount the advanced degree of difficulty of that move...I mean they’re somehow landing on one tiny hand...talk about aim!
