I loved that movie, and I also love the Paul Simon song the title comes from.

Ricky Whittle plays Shadow and he does a fine job. Shadow is supposed to be of mixed race, casting a white dude to play him would be a bad/wrong move.
I have been making fun of this movie pretty hard, but I finally watched it last night and cried like a baby. I loved it.
This is 100% me.
Yeah I was coming here to talk some similar shit. His eyebrows are also very...sculpted?
When I saw V for Vendetta, the projector or something died right almost at the end, right before the big end scene. People exploded. The best part was that the theater manager stuck her head out of the tiny little projector window right above where we were sitting in the top row and bellowed “FOLKS, WE’RE HAVING SOME…
Bye.
I watched this happen live this afternoon and I was cackling to myself in disbelief. I had a bunch of stuff to do but I couldn’t tear myself away from watching an insane person on tv.
I’ve been wondering when this bag of shit was going down.
Why do people keep saying that hopefully now Republicans will step up, or that now people will see there is a difference in the parties? LMFAO. Are you new? Trump supporters are gloating and taunting and gleeful about this. They do not care whatsoever. This is a football game to them and they care only about winning…
I’m pretty sure I read that he and Jessica Biel are anti-vaxxers, so there’s that?

I wish I had a more eloquent response, but barfffffff.
When Jimmy is being forcibly removed from Boone’s kitchen and he yells something like “you have no idea how sorry I am,” looking like he’s going to burst into tears, I swear I felt a pang in my heart.
I actually gasped at the Vern reveal when it showed what was happening, I was not expecting that whatsoever.
So they’re operating on the “satire and comedy are the same thing” notion? Because that’s not true at all. This movie is definitely not a comedy; humorous moments throughout, but not a comedy by any stretch.
Zzzzzz. 0/10, lazy effort, fat “jokes” are such a bore.
Iconic. “40 Miles of Bad Road” is such a fucking ripper, like most of their stuff honestly. Also, I named my cat Toody after Toody Cole.
I went through a period a long time back where I obsessively read and watched everything I could on the Johnny Gosch case, and I remember stumbling across this at the time and thinking it seemed bonkers, but now it’s like “Well maybe...”
