I said the same thing, I was like “The casting call for this role must have been ‘Lost Boys/Stand by Me era Kiefer Sutherland type”. I didn’t catch the connection with the name of the pumpkin farm though!

Don’t Breathe was good. I actually gasped out loud in the theater during That Scene, I’m sure you know which one. Gag worthy.

I know some people think it’s dumb but I love the Frighteners so much.

I watched the Canal a couple years ago, and I still think about that “birth” scene at the end because it was so revolting and fucked up. I also thought the ending was pretty meh but overall this movie kinda rules.

I had been putting off seeing it for years and finally took the plunge a couple years ago, and I can’t say that I was expecting it to be even half as bizarre as it was, and I watch a lot of weird old movies. You definitely need to see it.
