I need to stop reading this thread at work but I've been scrolling and scrolling and really nobody said any Johnny Thunders songs? Dude was a beast with that guitar. "Born to Lose" is a fucking jam.

Definitely do! It's just a live show from 2009 but I stumbled across it several years ago and it's probably my favorite version now. Especially great cranked up with headphones. Neil is super sloppy in every way (including his clothing) and just killing it.
You ever hear this version of "Rockin in the Free World"? The guitar is fucking awesome.
No love for the Kinks? "All Day and All of the Night" is still a badass song and it came out 53 years ago. Same goes for "All Day and All of the Night". Those solos are still raw and punk af.
Those are all good but yes especially to "We Are 138". So frantic!
Upvoted for Jack White; I saw the White Stripes three times when they were around circa 2002/2003 and those are still some of the most compelling shows I've ever seen. Just absolutely mesmerizing. I'm not a fan of his solo stuff but some of the live White Stripes shows still blow me away.
Legendary. I read once that Eddie Hazel was told to play guitar on that track "like his mama just died". Fitting.
Gunther von Hagens is the guy who invented the process to plasticize bodies, like for the Body Worlds exhibits.
Oh good, it had been like ten minutes since I saw some troll bring up Bill Clinton to deflect from the fat piece of shit that just kicked the bucket. I'm trying to get a bingo, so if you could talk about how we're cucks, Killary, Benghazi, or something about Obama being a socialist, that would be helpful.
I'm so sorry this happened.
That's fair, and I understand your point.
Dude, he was a repulsive serial sexual harasser and personally, I feel that Fox News is a blight on this country that has caused extensive damage, but if you want to praise him as being some kind of industrious role model because he was able to feed off of people's unfounded fears and conspiracy theories and get good…
Yeah totally, I don't know about everyone else here but I definitely aspire to eventually cripple a democracy through the use of propaganda and conspiracy theories, not to mention all the women he sexually harassed and manipulated into having sex with him in his spare time. Truly he is an inspiration to us all.
Nah, I will never feel bad about celebrating the death of someone who sexually harassed/assaulted women, not to mention the cancer on this country that is Fox News. When Trump kicks the bucket I'm going to throw a fucking kegger.
I literally laughed out loud like Nelson Muntz when I read this.
When they put the whole series up on Hulu a few years ago I sat down and watched a few seasons and was surprised/kind of embarrassed at how much I enjoyed it. I'm also a huge Degrassi: The Next Generation fan though, so I guess make of that what you will.
Oh god I always forget about this movie. So fucking creepy.
In high school I took German (ended up taking some in college as well), and at some point we watched some black and white film reels, no sound or narration, of the liberation of some of the concentration/extermination camps. For years I couldn't remember exactly what the films were but was always haunted by them, so a…
I remember this episode really well, unfortunately.
I mentioned this movie earlier in the comments because yeah, it is grotesque. I had a hard time with this movie and I actually loved it but goddamn.
