"the cop discovers that the boyfriend was killed in Afghanistan so he steals his body, throws it in the bed next to her, and rapes her with the body still in the bed."

That makes me almost gag just thinking about it.

I think that's more of a person gross-out thing, because I can't stand shaving scum or toothpaste leftovers or any of that shit. But really that whole show is so gross I have no idea why that one thing sticks with me so much.

It was relentless and brutal and I appreciated that the camera just did not shy away from showing everything but at the same time I was completely horrified. It was grotesque but fantastic.

Bone Tomahawk, which is an incredible, awesome movie, had some of the most disturbing imagery I've seen in a long, long time. I have a really strong stomach and can sit through almost anything, but I was utterly horrified and had to look away a couple times.

I hate this movie.

Yeah that was…upsetting. But I loved that movie.

Yeah, fuck this movie.

My dad recommended the Collector to me years ago and when I read it I was amazed/horrified, but I think it's a fantastic book. So disturbing, so matter of fact.

I watched this show religiously and even remember the day that it premiered (it was a triple line up that had been hyped for ages - Doug, then Rugrats, then Ren and Stimpy). As an adult I'm kind stunned my parents didn't give a shit about my brother and I watching it because holy shit that show is fucked up.

I hate this movie so much.

I read that book in high school like 20 years ago and I will never forget this scene.

I watched that episode years ago as a kid and didn't really remember much of it, so I watched it a few months ago on a whim and I was amazed at how utterly horrifying it was.

Yeah that was intense.

That's the first movie I always think of whenever there's a scene involving teeth in a movie/tv.

Seconding both of those. Guts made me feel physically ill when I read it.

I remember watching that movie with my PARENTS back when it came out and I was a teenager, and we were all like "Damn, this shit is pretty crazy." I haven't seen it in over a decade but some of the visuals have definitely stuck with me.

I hated it too. I remember being so excited to watch it because I like "challenging" movies and I remember watching it with my brother and being like "oh, fuck this."

There's a similar scene with George Clooney involving fingernails in Syriana that still haunts me, and I can remember literally nothing else about that movie.

Agreed pretty much 100%. I loved the ending so much.
