Apparently I’m in the minority here (which is why they keep charging for the game and DLC) but I basically never spend additional money on a game that I’ve bought. League of Legends? I think I’ve spent well in excess of $500 on the game over the years. Partially because I liked the content, but also because the game

I totally agree. While it’s cool (to an extent) that Nomura went out of his way to include even the mobile titles as canon, there was way too much focus on them with this game. I don’t give two shits about the mobile game.

I absolutely loved the movie. It wasn’t perfect, it had some pacing issues and I didn’t really buy the romance but it was pure visual spectacle.

I’ll be honest, I have a bit of a negative attitude towards the game and I have no interest in purchasing it, but I’m still trying to look at the game through an unbiased lens. In reading/hearing about what’s there, this is the general consensus I’ve seen: Combat is good, story is not.

I absolutely adored this game. I sunk so many hours into it as a kid.

I think a major problem is that there are people who don’t care about those things, and it seems like most of them are in the positions responsible for this.

It’s unfortunate that the game seems to have all of the problems and issues that people were afraid of it having. It doesn’t seem like it’s all bad, but I was really hoping that they would have been able to blow it out of the water and defy everyone’s expectations.

I enjoy FC a lot, but they really need to do something to change up the formula. As you mentioned, it’s basically been the same formula for years. That wouldn’t be as big of an issue if Ubisoft didn’t adapt similar features into most of their open world games. I adored 3 and got bored with 4, but I’ve been enjoying 5

What happened there? I didn’t really pay attention to gaming news back when MW2 released.

From the various reviews and feedback, I’m gathering that it improves a lot on what made the first game good. So it won’t convert you if you didn’t like the first game, but if you did you’ll appreciate the changes.

Getting ostracized is my guess. Obviously I don’t know him or anything that goes on in his head, and I like to assume that most people aren’t hateful towards LGBTQ (naive, I know, but the world has enough negativity that I have to have some faith somewhere). But I would assume that if he came out with some sort of a

Same here. In general he’s getting slammed all over Reddit, but I don’t hate the overall design. I honestly might even be okay with him just being Will Smith as the Genie, but I really hope that this is previous CG that will improve because there’s something so off about it.

This is one of those situations where I’m really glad that I wasn’t as invested in this series as others. I played the first game to pieces and it will always have an incredibly special place in my heart. I also played Chain of Memories on GBA, but I never got the chance to play anything after that as a kid. I didn’t

I completely agree. Close friends are critical, and a new relationship should never ask you to leave those friends. But that relationship is VERY close. I’ve interacted with people that close to others, and honestly that would be a dealbreaker for me. I’d never ask TOC to leave her friend, because that’s not my place.

I just finished the Toy Story world, and I would agree that you just get used to it. It does help that you unlock more abilities to help you fly around more. I’m getting into the swing of it, but it’s definitely not as tight as 2.

I’m enjoying the game so far, but I’m really not wild about the combat. I’m finding it very loose and floaty compared to KH2. Does it get better as the game goes on? I’m still only at Olympus.

I’m sure that everyone says it, but KH2 still plays incredibly well for a PS2 game. It looks fairly similar, which is okay to me.

It’s so nice to see someone else that dislikes the Gummi ship. I’ve always hated it (although it’s bearable in 2) and I made the mistake of mentioning that to the die hard KH fans. That was a mistake.

Man, I would have been royally pissed if this had happened to me. I don’t blame people for being upset at all.

The combat being too different from 2 was by far my biggest concern, but it sounds like it’s still fairly comparable. Tuesday can’t come soon enough!
