It’s a bit oversimplified, but that’s pretty much the gist.

I think that the story will be self contained enough that you can still enjoy 3, but you’re definitely going to be missing out on a lot. My biggest complaint about the series is that it’s spread out over so many systems, which is a joke. Yeah, it’s all on PS4 now, but that’s still a ton of games you have to play…
I’m completely in the same boat. I’ve had people make fun of me, but if a girlfriend spoiled something as big as Infinity War or the upcoming season of Game of Thrones for me, that would be a relationship-ending act. If it’s something that I don’t care about, then I don’t mind as much. But if it’s something that they…
I had the same issue, and it’s honestly one of my biggest complaints with open world games. Obviously they couldn’t plan a game of this scale down to the very last enemy, in terms of XP availability. There’s going to be more stuff to do than there are levels to gain. But it seems like so many games are lopsided with…
I actually completely agree. I don’t like being completely overpowered (that takes all challenge out of the game) but when the fights are completely equal it just feels a bit tedious chipping away at their health. Especially when they can take you out in three or four hits.
The level scaling was actually my biggest issue with the game, and as far as I could tell there was no way to turn it off (but I could also be a Grade A idiot and just couldn’t see the option). I really dislike games with level scaling because it basically defeats any purpose of leveling up. A normal guard while…
“There is a ton of content and the company system allows you to create your own fun, even if the game is fighting you all the way.”
Agreed. I know that the PS1 didn’t have any analog sticks, but they’re one of those things that once you use them, you can’t go back.
Personally I like the unlocks. I do agree that the starting roster could have been a bit bigger (8 is pretty small) but I like the sense of progression and actually working to unlock the characters. Smash is a great party game, but playing it by yourself gets pretty dull if you’re only playing just for the sake of…
Same here. I’ve never really enjoyed Fallout that much, so I was never going to buy the game anyways, but the trainwreck is just absolutely spectacular. They’re making so many bumbling decisions that you have to wonder if they’re doing it on purpose. There is no way that a company can be so bone-headed and ignorant.
That's really one of my biggest thoughts reading this. "Wait.. A grown, human adult is behaving like he's 13? People actually do that?"
That was my thought. Half of these issues could have been resolved by not letting them enter certain words or phrases for their usernames. Maybe it’s the fact that “fart” was included with “big” so it didn’t register.
The fact that someone like Logan Paul not only exists but has as big of an influence as he does just makes me lose so much faith in humanity. I’d never heard of him until the whole “suicide forest” incident, so I decided to look him up. That lasted about 20 seconds. The guy is a Grade A, 100% asshole and it just…
This might be a really stupid question, but why would you want a private session of an online game? I understand only wanting to be in a group with your friends, but the way this article is worded it makes it seem like solo players would want a private session. What’s the purpose of playing an online game with…
I think Disney could afford to push it back though. They’ve got Captain marvel in March, Avengers in April, and Far From Home in July.
Man, the truth or dare scene for Eighth Grade was so unsettling and uncomfortable to watch. Masterfully done.
My biggest complaint with it is that Marvel isn’t even trying to pretend that everyone’s dead. Were they going to kill off half of their entire MCU in one fell swoop? Of course not, but they could at least make people sweat a little. But no, there’s already tons of press (and allegedly a trailer tomorrow) for…
At first I actually laughed, because I didn’t think it was real. I thought they were going for some sort of dark humor where she bonks her head and gets knocked out or something. But the scene kept going, and my mind kept going “No... no... they didn’t really do that. She still has her head”. Needless to say... yeah.…
I honestly thought this presentation was just sad. You could hear the desperation “We haven’t talked much about the story, but it’s there!! We promise!!”
I think this honestly looks fantastic. Really excited to see how it turns out.
