I refuse to acknowledge this game’s existence based on pure principle. The existence of this game is everything that’s wrong with the gaming industry today. Whether or not the game is good is (to me) irrelevant, because this type of MTX-fueled garbage should not have ever existed in the first place.

I have no idea, but if I had to guess, I would assume that the sales just aren’t there. I’m guessing that as time goes on, RTS becomes a more and more niche market and they just won’t sell enough to justify a big budget, or even a moderate budget.

I’m fine with the lack of forums, but the lack of reviews is definitely not great.

I actually didn’t expect him to be there next year. It seems like he only goes out on stage when the main BGS studio is putting out a new game (Fallout 4, Fallout 76, etc) but doesn’t go otherwise. Obviously that largely depends on if they had a new game to announce, but I would be really surprised if Starfield was

There’s a very fine line between making a quality product for your business and trying to nickel and dime your customers for every last damn coin they have.

100%. Don’t get me wrong, bluetooth head/earphones are incredibly useful and I definitely find my uses for them, but having normal headphones is so ingrained to me and I don’t know that I could ever give it up.

That’s the thing that always frustrates me when I hear it. Would I have preferred games rise in price over MTX? Absolutely. But people seem to be under the impression that if game prices are raised, they’ll take out MTX which is ludicrous to even suggest. Publishers know the truckloads of money they can make from MTX

I bought it for full price, have about 65 hours in it, and still have a ton more to do. Although in fairness, I think I do more side content than your average Joe. It’s kind of overwhelming just how huge the game is, but I’m really enjoying it.

Man, that twist was just pathetic. If the Knight was going to be Jason Todd, that’s fine. But they had so many flashbacks to him throughout the game, and then the reveal was supposed to be this huge dramatic plot twist and it’s like... well yeah, that’s obviously who it was. They built to it way too much.

I don’t think it was a stupid idea, just very very poor execution. I’m not a Fallout fan in general but I think if the game had been implemented properly (Something more along the lines of Fallout with Borderlands-style co-op, which is what people have been asking for for YEARS) then it could have been a great

This game is just... wow. What a trainwreck. I feel bad for the developers (the actual people working on the game. I’m sure that they worked incredibly hard) but this game wasn’t anywhere near ready.

Yeah I think the biggest thing people need to know with dating a coworker is that if it ends, you both have to be adults and not let it get awkward, like you said. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking out a coworker (as mentioned in the article, you have those individuals that are starkly against it) but

It looks like it’s actually surprisingly okay. We only have the one trailer, but it looks like they struck a nice balance between serious and silly, which is honestly what it needs. My biggest concern was that, being live action, it would take itself too seriously and just be terrible.

Frankly I’m surprised they’ve lasted this long. In the day and age of the Internet, why would anyone spend money on a guide?

And it’s a testament to how well done it was that it still holds up. I’m looking forward to seeing the updated version.

I would have loved to see a Warcraft 2 remaster. Maybe not a full on remaster, but something in the vein of the Starcraft remaster that they did, where it’s more just updated for modern systems at least. I have so many fond memories of that game.

Oh definitely, it’s no guarantee that the game is close to releasing. One of the big examples I always think of is The Division, which was showed off in 2013 and didn’t come out until 2016. But in most cases, having some sort of proof of concept shows that the game is at least kind of close to releasing.

I really hate the practice that’s started of waiting until after the initial reveal/launch period to add microtransactions, and frankly I don’t think that publishers should be able to do that. We all know they hold out on adding them because they impact the game negatively, and don’t want the reviews to reflect that.

I’m the same, I actually just left a comment about this. All it does is officially confirm that they’re working on a game that we all know they’re working on anyways. I’d much rather wait for a game to be officially announced when they reveal the gameplay.

It might just be me, but I really dislike when companies do that. I didn’t enjoy when Bethesda confirmed ES 6 this past E3, because to me it takes away from some of the excitement. Yeah, they were working on it, and we all knew they were working on it but I much prefer to not hear about a game until it’s got some
