That was my thought. In the buildup to it, all I could think was “Please don’t say Luke fucking Skywalker”, and they didn’t. But not only was it not Luke, they were nobodies. I loved that.

I loved buying my PS4, and Sony has been killing it this gen. The Xbox One X was a great response to the PS4 Pro, so Microsoft just needs to get some great first party games to go along with it. I’m really looking forward to seeing what will come in the future!
Well in all fairness, they improved D1 drastically. Whether or not you liked the game after Rise of Iron is subjective, but you can’t deny that they made some excellent improvements to it. So I think more people are mad over the fact that it was three steps forward, and three steps back. They’re making the same…
From what I understand, the outrage over the loot boxes (and shaders specifically) is more about the fact that they were free in the first game. Granted, they applied to the entire armor and not specific pieces, but they were free. So gamers are angry that they took something free from the first game and started…
Agreed. Is the industry as a whole moving towards entirely digital? Absolutely. But disks are so integrated into how all of our media works, they’re not leaving for a long while.
I really wish that this game had been great. Love it or hate it, I easily got my money’s worth out of the first game and would have happily paid for the second if I could have gotten the same amount of time. Maybe when they release their “Rise of Iron” collection for D2.
I understand that a lot of people have issues with this game, but I simply adored it. I sunk almost 80 hours into it and got the platinum trophy, and aside from a few story issues *cough* Chapter 13 *cough* I loved every second of it. I highly recommend it for those that haven’t played, especially at $20.

I’m excited for Aquaman because it’s being helmed by James Wan. He’s a great director and I think he’ll make a good movie.
So I understand the gist of what a VPN is, but how exactly do they work? Is it something you set up that you can only access from one place (like your home)? Or is almost like a “gate” that you can log in from anywhere to get the benefits of the VPN?

Popularity and influence shouldn’t matter - The very definition that they put is “A game that delivers the absolute best experience across all creative and technical fields”. While popularity and influence do tend to coincide with these games, those aren’t the determining factors.
I’m in a similar boat. I loathe Gamestop and don’t want to do anything to support them, but this... is actually a pretty good deal. As long as you keep on top of it and don’t forget to rent games.
Absolutely agree. The first one has not aged well in any way, and it’s janky as all hell. But there’s just something incredibly charming about it, and I love it to death.
And yet, the game will sell like hotcakes. Because Star Wars. I’ve been trying to tell as many people as I know to not buy the game, and one of my friends won’t hear of it. “But it’s Star Wars! I love Star Wars!” Is all I keep hearing from her, no matter how many logical flaws and disgusting business practices I point…
I don’t mean to start the circle jerk, but... Witcher 3?
It depends on where you live. In my state, I’d say the average age to get married is 20-21, so that’s not surprising. I’m almost 23 myself, and considered an “old maid” of sorts because I’m not married yet.
Yeah, Hearthstone is a great time-passer but it’s never something that I’d take incredibly seriously. You’d either have to drop a lot of money into the game or be playing 24/7 to really be able to compete.
I see your point, but for the horsepower that this console puts out, $500 is a great price.
Is it going to have a battery that lasts more than half a day? Maybe it’s just me, but I’m lucky if my S7 Edge+ lasts me the entire day. The battery is terrible
I completely agree. When the game was still in closed beta, I absolutely adored it and couldn’t get enough. They had changed and nerfed things from Witcher 3 (Decoy/Spy decks or GTFO), and made the game more complex, but it still had an air of simplicity about it that made it a ton of fun. Due to life getting in the…
For what it’s worth - I believe that you can turn the damage numbers off.
