Agreed, the free running and parkour-down systems were very much needed and excellently implemented.

Man, I do hope that the combat is improved. The combat in Unity was supposed to be completely different, but it just ended up being a slower version of what was there. I’m very much liking what I’m seeing of Origins, hopefully it’s good!!

I still need to go finish them. I’ve played 1 through a few times, and absolutely love it. I’ve gotten about halfway through 2 but never finished.

I can’t agree enough. You won’t find a bigger Witcher 3 fan than me, and I loved Gwent when it was in early closed beta. But after not playing for a few months, I started it back up and it was so unbelievably complicated. I understand that as they expand the game and it gets bigger, it’s going to get more complicated.

Reading through your review (great review, by the way), it didn’t seem like the game was particularly difficult, unless you tried to take on something that vastly outleveled you. Is the game more difficult than Shadow of Mordor? That was probably my biggest complaint about the original game, was that it was so easy to

I posted this on the YT video, but do we know yet if Grievous is a playable hero? If not..... why?!

I wonder why that is. Did they just not ever program one in to it, or was there some sort of technical reason?

Yeah one of the only reasons it sold well was because it had been years since the last Battlefront, and it came out about a month before Force Awakens.

I actually liked how they incorporated the Joker, I just found the Arkham Knight to be very lackluster and predictable. Also, I was hoping for more Scarecrow. He’s just kind of there sometimes, and you hear his voice over the com systems.

Seeing shit like this really makes me wish I had the disposable income to buy one. Because that statue is so amazing.

I think it looks like fun. It’s obviously not going to win any awards, and I doubt that it will get good ratings, but it seems like it will be a very fun summer popcorn flick.

Reading through this just makes me sick. Like, physically ill. It’s absolutely disgusting that they charge the full $60, and then nickel and dime you for microtransactions this badly on top of it. And the worst part is that people pay it. I have an uncle who loves sports games, and he’ll complain and grumble, and then

The biggest thing that frustrated me about this dungeon was that the game is clearly not meant for platforming. So in my eyes, it took much longer and was more frustrating than necessary, because the game mechanics make it that way. It’s not difficult because it’s actually difficult, it’s difficult because they’re

That Xbox One controller/game bundle is actually killer. You can think of it as buying the game and getting a controller for $16, or vice versa. Worst case, you buy it, sell the game sealed for $50, and you scored a controller for $26.

It’s been a few months since I tried it, but last time I tried (i5 4690k, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080) I couldn’t get any sort of a stable framerate anywhere at 1080p. I tried 60, 45, 30, etc and I could never keep it locked.

That’s one of those things that you don’t really realize how much it changes until you watch such a stark (Ha!) comparison like that. His voice changes ever so slightly as the show goes on, and it’s so gradual that you don’t really notice.

That was my biggest problem with the whole subplot, is that so much happened off screen without telling us. When it’s enemies plotting (IE: The Red Wedding) then that’s completely fine, because we’re seeing it from the point of view of the good guys. But when we’re from the point of view of the good guys, we shouldn’t

I absolutely adored it. Sure it has some pacing and story issues, but it’s got some great gameplay and I got really hooked on it. I don’t regret paying full price one bit.

Anything could happen, but if he’s been working on it since 2014, I don’t think he’s going to give up. Unless he wants to be okay with wasting 3 years of his life.

I originally had 0 interest in one, because I’ve never been much of a Nintendo guy. But for some reason, over the past month or so, the desire to get one has just skyrocketed and now I really want one.
