“80s” and “design” in same sentence? Jalopfault. ;)

Oh Boy! Jalopfight! Gather ‘round...

Every time I see a Leaf on Ga 400, I think “coal burner”

“This inferior crap designed to focus on the accountants, with anything but premium soft-touch materials throughout. Economics were applied to de-emphasize the driving experience and prevent easy operation of the steering wheel, pedals and shifter while driving.”

So how does this affect me? I went through auto puberty in the late 60’s

Yeah I know - once again I couldn’t locate the sarcasm font. I only bought a Cavalier in ‘85 because Corollas had gotten more expensive due to import restrictions back then.

Chevy Cavalier - stemmed the tide of imports.

Looks like a plausible alternative to a V7

Remember the classic Automobile magazine cover when these came out? “Audi shows us its TT’s”.

If the “Domestic” automakers are going to move car production to Mexico, why stop there? How ‘bout Tierra del Fuego? Better yet, Antarctica.

That quick bump back in the seat at 1:49 to 1:50 - I showed that to a druggie friend of mine and explained to him how much more addictive that bump was than his “bump”.

Glad to see “Improbability Drive” didn’t make the list. Cause that one makes sense.

350Z for me as well

Yeah I have. What I had to get used to is that the clutch pedal is too easy - wish it were a bit stiffer like the one on my ‘06 Colorado. But this is not a complaint - I do like a challenge and an excuse to improve my co-ordination. I grew up driving vehicles with mechanical clutch linkages (two left legs required)

I was thinking about a V7 but man that V9 looks nice!

Ethan Allen makes flower pots? Who knew? Extremely informative.

What has gone wrong?

Talented people amaze me...

One of the things that convinced me to buy this vehicle was all the complaints about the Eaton 6spd being “too trucklike”. I must be an outlier but when I am in a truck I want it to act like a truck, not a car.
