She's a famous black woman who is not conventionally attractive and refuses to conform in order to be "mainstream". They didn't feel like they "owned" her celebrity, and therefore she had to be punished.

The altright has gone from a small group of pathetic losers to a more vocal terrorist group of pathetic losers. Thank Trump for emboldening these horrible white nationalists.

Hey, go fuck yourself with your racist meme bullshit. Never the time or the place for that crap.

Agreed. Like how Daniel Day Lewis played Christy Brown, and then later tried to pretend to be Abraham Lincoln? It's like, dude, who are you trying to fool?

If you've read "Dissescting a Dead Frog" Adam McKay comes across as an incredibly thoughtful artist in his interview. The layers he puts in to even ridiculous movies like Talladega Nights is really appreciated and you know he'd have done awesome things with this kinda material.

I hope this movie is a success purely because when Punisher: War Zone didn't perform well, Hollywood's response was to not allow women to direct superhero movies for 8 years.

I was a musical theatre major and the only time the entire department showed up to the Super Bowl viewing party was when Beyoncé performed. Many left immediately afterwards. They know what they're doing.

That's fair. I never got to that Freeze arc. That leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

You should write for Vanity Fair.

Honest question. I enjoyed his reappearance in the "Death of the Family" Batman arc. Mostly because the sense of humor was twisted, but he was more playing mind games for the most part. (Making them think he had cut off their faces and what not) did they cross the line and have him ACTUALLY do this Jared Leto like

That's always been so crazy to me because I looked forward to her pieces every week and when I'd go to the comments to read other people's thoughts on it, it would turn into mosogynist/homophobic garbage usually hidden inside long-winded "why should I care?" comments?

I didn't know that the AV Club saved enough snark over the course of 4 years to go after the Olympics till these comments. I thought we had already used all of our reserves on Suicide Squad!

I can't believe no ones mentioned the best line in the episode, when Bojack is referencing the "first time" he saw PC and the "first time" he heard her voice was her saying "It's nice to see you again" and the immediate realization that the sweet gesture he thought he had up his sleeve was ruined by his own awfulness.

Part of me is terrified that I'm going to love Leto's version of the Joker. Like, I won't ever stop making fun of his pretentious/annoying method acting bullshit, but it would definitely make the snark a lot less fun.

The first two words of the headline prepared me to hear more terrible 2016 news. Glad it turned out to be something cool instead.

Budget restrictions will cause him to only transform in the mid-season finale and the actually finale. Both times he'll say something along the lines of "my head is killing me" after.

Couldn't agree more. I first heard about it when it was in talks for a movie treatment and had to pick it up. However, I can't see how it could possibly work on screen. So much of its best work is internal narrative and it's a small scale story with really high stakes. I just hope our book club in these comments makes

I'm on my third read now. You pick up on a lot more of the lies he tells the reader throughout the book on repeated reads.

Thank God (heh) someone mentioned it! I'm shocked I got this far without someone else pointing it out!

I feel bad that Angel can't fully participate in the adult coloring book shenanigans without losing his soul.
