The web series has gone on way longer than it should, but it started out pretty interesting and creepy.

Give the man his due, he's still the third best drummer the Beatles ever had.

This whole thing made me miss Sarah Schnieder's porn parody reviews on Splitsider

Oh I'd love for him to make another hilarious film and believe he's got it in him. But acting is a muscle he's atleast given reps over the last 30 years where as stand-up is a totally different game. His old material isn't who he is anymore and he'd need to find his stand-up persona for the Eddie Murphy that has been

His reason not to is pretty compelling. He did those 30 years ago and is considered one of the best to ever do it and then he stopped. If he came out of retirement now and tried it, there's no way he could match the success of the youthful him that did it every day for years.

Very sorry for your loss.

Oh, and he wouldn't get equally destroyed if Johnson was a power-bottom?!

So, the Rock will play the Robin Williams character and Hart will play his friend with PTSD that feels guilty for leaving their friend to die and there's a lot of sexual tension between them?

I was really happy to hear that in order to expand the relatively sparse story, they apparently created an entire Barbra Gordon prologue. It was there way of saying, "this isn't some victim. This is a hero, daughter, and friend who had something terrible happen to her and she will be treated as such in our version".

I'm personally really invested in if Smiley Face Emoji and Blushing Face Emoji end up together. However, I can deal without that horrible subplot of Crying Emoji being taken advantage of by the We're Totally Talking About Fucking Emoji.

Yeah it seem colossally dumb, but didn't we say that to both "21" AND "22 Jump Street"? If they play this right, I can see it being an awesome take down of series cash grabs when they run out of ideas. OR it'll be a beautiful beautiful train wreck.

Couldn't agree more. It seems like Cartoon Network reached a point where they believed children weren't mature enough to handle well written superhero animation. (Or worse, worried they were too mature and wouldn't buy any toys) Animation is where these character can make probably the most impact and create the

Dammit, I'm gonna buy a ticket to a Doctor Strange movie aren't I? What a weird time to be alive.

You know, a great animated series would probably fill that Batman sized home even better. Get great writers in there, have it be Bruce Timm level, and I'd be set for a while.

How you were gonna *spoilers I guess?* "Gone Girl" the Pope.

Which I completely understand. Honestly, the world probably does need more types of superheroes than just Batman. Heck, even more artistic films than just tent poles. But if it's there and I got the disposable income, I'll go see a character that I still care about go on his next adventure.

That's fair! I'm literally their target audience, someone who enjoys comics and Batman so much, he'll joyfully give them as much rope as they need to hang him with.

Honestly, do we really need any superhero film anymore?

Okay, snark aside, Affleck is an awesome writer and director and gave a great Batman performance. I don't see how this couldn't end up as a, at least decent if not great, Batman flick.

Yeah, but those horrible movies put lean cuisines on the dinner/card table.
