In order of importance:

I love kickstarter, but there's no way in hell I'd contribute money to a project that is going to ultimately be at the mercy of the mystifying whims of the App Store.

Ahh...interesting.

My wedding in no way compares in geekiness to any of these, but we had the following Nerd elements:

"cats are girls and dogs are boys."

I'm from Texas and knew this since I was a kid, yes.

Umm...haven't we known this for a long, long time? I remember as a kid being warned not to touch them because they spread leprosy.

Great list! Love it.

It's the script that tells the website what kind of machine you are on. It's what allows your smartphone to automatically go to m.facebook.com when you try to go to www.facebook.com, etc. Anyway, I was under the impression that video streaming sites such as Hulu would block access from unsupported devices such as the

Can you do that without changing the user agent?

I played this game from just after launch until WoW came out (about 8 months). I really loved it; it was so innovative and interesting, and I love comics. Reading this really makes me miss it. If they ever make it free-to-play, I'll come back in a heartbeat (I have a strict, no-monthly-fee-MMOs policy, now).

FIN!

Haha...love the picture choice there.

The cheapest is a $25 plan that gets me the same thing I'd get with an HD antenna, only more reliable. Once our kid is old enough to watch TV (none before age 2), then we might spring for that, but I doubt it. My friend and his wife make due with Netflix for their kid, though he's only 2.

I'm not going to argue that Restoree isn't a good book, but deep inside me is the socially-awkward 7th grader that fell in love with fantasy when he discovered the Dragonriders of Pern in his junior high library and he is extremely excited to see these go to the big screen.

It seems like a good idea to me. I know that my 9th grade male students use the term "Nazi Zombie" as though it was a damn comma.

She fought all sorts of things aside from vampires. For most of the series, she was referred to as "The Slayer." "Vampire Slayer" just has a better ring to it (and was in the title of the original movie).

Marvel is owned by Disney, Disney is tight with character licensing (hell, they've sued elementary schools for painting their characters on cafeteria walls).

Man...I've always said I'd never pay $15 (or even $10) for a map pack and I was just last night thinking of selling my copy of Black Ops...but this sounds really awesome.
