@leetgeek: I just bought it for the PC, but probably won't find time to play it until this Summer. It was just $20 on pc, seemed like a good deal, though I've heard mixed reviews.

@Chispea: I had the opposite experience last night, in a good way. I was dreading meeting up with a good friend of mine from grad school last night because the last time we hung out he went off on me for disagreeing with him politically (he's a tea-partier). I was pleasantly surprised that the topic of politics never

@korrupt9187: Everything about this post is awesome.

@Buster Friendly: Grah...I saw a copperhead in my yard last week while mowing. Damn sucker got away before I could get him. I mowed the rest of the yard with my machete strapped to my waist, just in case.

@MaxellDVD1: Definitely agree. I used to be a starred commenter on Gizmodo. After months of good commenting, Adam Frucci took away my star for saying "Will it blend" to his stupid article about a usb drive shoved up a mouse's butt. Whatever, I'd much rather chill with the Lifehacker crowd, anyway.

Woooh...time to Friday!

@fate47 - meh.: love the Sniper and the Doctor, personally.

Good work!

I'm curious about "loading ie with add-ons." Do you mean like using the ie-tab extension in Firefox/Chrome? What is bad about that (provided that you keep an updated version of ie on your comp)? I have two sites I HAVE to use for work (e-mail and online gradebook) that function terribly in both Firefox and Chrome but

@Chispea: April is a hectic month for me, due to the TAKS test on April 30th and the AP Test on May 7th. I'm drilling my students like crazy on a pretty constant basis for the whole month.

@freakshowtime: Thank you! This weekend I'm uploading a review of the iPad exclusive Titans Mode in Geometry Wars: Touch. I'm also going to work on a Mirror's Edge review. But the diabetes one is the one I'm really excited about. That and my upcoming dorky theme-song.

@PhilD41: That's so awesome! My wife and I have been considering that for awhile. We've currently put it as our second option, but, having been adopted myself, I'm very much in favor of it. Congratulations!

@iamnotafish: Take a tin pan and fill it with woodchips. It works awesomely.

@korrupt9187: set goals! Lots and lots of micro-goals.

@Xeraphim: I'm with Stephen. I really can't see why anyone would use anything other than Google Reader.

Heh...also, the 2-minute warning bell just rang and I still have zero students in my classroom. What the...?

Happy Friday, Lifehackers!

@lilkeith7: Almost definitely the power supply. Do what Buster said "Unplug it, hold down the power button for five seconds to discharge all the capacitors, and plug it back in." If that doesn't work, then I'd consider replacing the power supply. If it's just a run-of-the-mill desktop, it can probably use a pretty
