@Zombie Ms. Skittles: I have a friend who is a pre-natal neuroscientist, and she specifically told me that drinking in the first trimester can easily cause fetal alcohol syndrome, even if it's in small amounts. It's really not safe until the third trimester. It's most especially dangerous in that two-four week period

@JanetCarol: Best-case scenario, you are probably looking at LEAST $3k in expenses just for the pregnancy and birth, so I would save up that much money at the very least before starting. My wife and I are starting to try next month after a ObGyn visit (you should do this, too, of course). We've saved up around $16k,

@Phoshi: Heh, oh, they almost all hate him already. When I sent him to the office they started laughing at him.

@compacho: You might think about getting a subscription to Website Magazine. It's got a TON of info each month and is free even though it has the production values of a magazine you'd pay $8.00 for at a newstand.

@luckybob343: On my resume, for each job I have a sub-heading called "responsibilities" in which I explain what I did. @e-gadgetjunkie: Do you solder? If not, then you are pretty much looking at using a surge protector and flipping its switch.

@soggy_cheerio: Ahh, yeah, in that case I'd agree. I think it might be a little much for the Gawker editors to have to police.

@Bonsai_halcyon: hmm...not particularly, but it does make me want to never play Australian football or rugby or whatever that is.

@ddmeightball: This might sound dumb, but I've been really satisfied with buying a really barebones PC and then building up. My current gaming rig is built upon the foundation of a nice little bargain-bin HP and looks pretty slick, actually.

@geiko: Sidekick or EnV?

@NorwoodIsMyHero and @soggy_cheerio: I disagree (also, I know I'm not starred here, but I am on Giz). First, I don't think that it does promote them, because when I still had an unapproved account, I had my comments approved constantly and it didn't change my status. Second, even if it did, sometimes you don't mean to
