@hjustin93: Could be the ethernet card. That's the cheaper thing to troubleshoot, too. You can get a net card for $20. Still, when you are building a PC, think of the mobo as the foundation of a building. Even if you are building a cheap-ass house, you make sure to build it on a solid foundation.

@dieriding: Only thing I can think of is to try to find someone with a home CD. I had to do this with my current computer at Vista. Sticker from the wiped, barebones was for 64 bit (and the computer was 64bit), but I only had an extra copy of 32bit, so I had to find someone with 64bit.

TGIF!

@luckycharms: yeah, and T-Mobile uses sim cards unlike some carriers, so it's easy to bring your own phone (though I did do a contract and buy their phone, but, yeah).

@fadecomic: I have a lot of respect for anyone that can do that, but I never could. I never even SAW a cell phone other than Zach Morris' huge brick on Saved by the Bell until I was in my second year of college - now, I can't imagine going a single day without one. Sad :(

@Bree L: This is based on current prices, not whatever amazingly awesome plan you are locked in at.

Nice chart. This would have made it easier for me when I bought my smartphone back in August, but it's about the same info that I found, leading me to change from Verizon to T-Mobile. I do admit that my MyTouch is slower than some of the smartphones I could have had with other carriers, but $20/mo savings is insane

@Wontendwell: I can see it. People I play games with are always shocked and awed that I'm a teacher (I don't tell them that I'm only 26).

Three-Day Weekend! Woo-woo!

@mpar: Why not? They look exactly like I'd expect them to.

@Nipple of Doom: While as a Nintendo fan I'm very happy to see those numbers, it is kind of a cheat since each and every one of those was packaged with a system at some point. Duck Hunt is especially ridiculous, since it was on the same cartridge as SMB.

@Masonvrocks: Pokemon Red came with my Gameboy Color, Tetris came with my original gray Gameboy.

None of that is remotely surprising, except that 50+ aged gamers outnumber under 18 gamers. I didn't expect that.

Pretty awesome that a kid did this on his own.

Nice. I had another such app, but it was overly complicated and required writing down and keeping track of a 20something character security code. Downloading WaveSecure as I type this.

That picture says a thousand words.

@whiteflea: oh, and my MyTouch for Facebook, quickly looking something up, checking Penny-Arcade, etc.

Use gaming rig/media center (desktop) with my living room TV, old WinXP (desktop) in home office, and most of my computer time is spent on my computer at work (desktop). My wife has a laptop, but it's slow enough to annoy me into going to the home office computer or media center for almost anything instead. I AM
