Bad...really bad.  Those engines were absolutely gutless.

Yeah, a rock that needed to be tossed to the bottom of the ocean.  Terribly underpowered, especially at elevation.  CP all day.

    Hear, hear!

Can confirm.  My copy is on a shelf in my garage.

I feel bad for all parents out there, all of them

Just make sure you’re not over 5'6” (unless you’ve got really short legs).  Love the cars, can’t fit :(

I prefer Analon myself.  18 years or so since I purchased my first set and I’ve only replaced pieces of them since. Just about to replace the large pots.

    Ditto.

How are the wheels attached to the vehicle?

Not sure there’s a trunk in the Changli.

Seriously. The grille IS the problem. I honestly hadn’t even noticed the headlights and even looking at them now, they’re fine. That grille on the other hand...

    Original impression still stands.

Thanks, that’s what I figured.  Kind of like the Mandalorian and Disney+.

The reality is that I’ll probably end up paying for the service for a month so I can watch this (and whatever is exclusively on AppleTV at the moment).  Just have to wait until all of the episodes are available (if they’re not already).

I’m seeing some Aztec in that rear end.  Not a looker that one.

it should be compared to the 43 AMG cars

Agreed on all fronts. He/They sure make beautiful cars. The episode with the Stout was really interesting as it doesn’t necessarily fit his style of hot rodding, though he always talks about not being committed to/pigeon-holed into one car manufacturer or model.

Steve Strope (Pure Vision) put one together on one of their episodes of Hand Built Hot Rods on Motor Trend. Pretty cool little trucks.
