I agree about the predictability part. But the plot mystery isn't what got me into the show. It was the subtle parallels of the characters to Hollywood cliches' down to Max Miner's sister wanting to be a star & being exploited by the photographer. The union, the Nazis, the subtle racism towards Italians, jews, blacks.

It's no wonder that most of the discussion here is about Celeste & Perry's abusive relationship. That is the only valid & true conflict in this otherwise soapy show. Most other conflicts are made up by adults acting like 2 year olds & kindergarteners acting like adults. I thought the therapy sessions were masterfully

I get it! It's about the characters and not the plot or the mystery. But then what's the point of throwing so many mysterious plot points at us? It's like telling someone to be on a diet while you keep throwing treats at them and tell them not to bite! I liked the character focused eps of Matt and Nora. The show is

Agree about Garvey. His anger seems relentless and unjustified and I'm beginning to think that he might have some kind of mental illness. Partly it could also be the way the actor is playing him with a constant frown? I still find it hard to care about him.

When the adults themselves are so f****d up…..It's hedonism at its worst because these people don't know how to move on. They think the tragedy in their lives has earned them the right to have a constant chip on their shoulders

Goodness, this reviewer needs to get a grip. I'm neither white nor religious and I think it's neither the show nor the writer whose book this show us based on duty to represent me or my culture. I can see the metaphors underneath that apply to all of us and enjoy a story whether or not I'm represented. I agree the

It's the "pop" culture so I expect crazy and mostly let go. But there is this thing about tv shows/movies that annoys the hell out of me. It's the concepts"Ship", "OTP" and "Teams". These shippers make a soap opera out of every story. They insist on bullying the writers to bring their "ship" together no matter what

That would be great. Neat way to bring her back. Good point about the lost 3 eps. But seriously judging from the past seasons, this kidnap will probably be resolved in an episode or two with minimal direct continuation of the past season's arc. Although it will set in motion another arc, jmo. I could be totally and

Thanks Kenny. I'll miss your witty and insightful WC reviews.

I don't mind if bad things happen organically, such as Kate's plane blowing up (as horrible as it was), or evil Kramer compelling Neal to flee. But hate bad things are brought on by the usually clever characters playing dumb (Peter picking up James' gun and shooting a blank) or contrived plots twists such as someone

Good point about the two endings Waves. Sounds reasonable. That could have been a potentially good ending

That was a very insightful and thorough review Kenny. You certainly saved the best for last.
I liked how the episode was so slow paced on purpose that it increased my sense of doom with every frame. First I thought it was going to happen with Rebachel and Neal atop that cliff. I could almost hear the wheels grinding

Yes, she looks incredible with that bob! Bridget and Matt make a great on-screen pair. Funnily enough Matt was a fan favorite for the Superman role and Bridget for the Wonder woman!

Absolutely, I can't imagine WC without those NYC shots and references. Heck, even Neal's apt on it's own is a character in itself. And yes, I have really missed the artistic crimes this season, and seeing the artist in Neal!

This was a classic WC episode. Diana showed us why she was missed so much. I wouldn't mind seeing her as Neal's handler! Love her wit and wisdom.
But really, all in all, this season has belonged to Bridget Regan! She amazes me more and more every episode. I think her and Matt really have terrific chemistry, in love

Absolutely. I fell in love with her during that scene. From Rebecca to Rachel and back to Rebecca with that love declaration gave that character immediate humanity. Bridget was electric there and the rest of the episode.

Good point about the last two eps being on unit. Although thinking of the episode before the S4 finale, "shoot the moon" gives me the shudders! lol. Also your take on Diamond Exchange makes sense. My only guess is I don't think they will make Rebecca an out and out baddie. Looking at how they upped the love angle and

I have the same theory about Bruce. Like you said why keep bringing him up repeatedly if there wasn't more to him? It's kinda weird there are so many storylines still open and only two episodes to go. I'm doubtful if Siegel's murder is really solved. There was some extra focus on Neal's childhood file and I'm

You're right in a very White Collar fashion many questions were shoved under the rug! My guess is Neal will escape, without Peter's consent this time, and we'll be back to pre Season 1 with Peter chasing Neal.
