Ever since I got my sinuses fixed so that they actually drain instead of just backing up into my brain (assumption on my part, not proven by science), my allergies no longer take the form of oppressive congestion, but instead manifest as the itchiest palate and swollenest eyes ever.

It's interesting becuase if you watch the show her sisters and mother have always considered her this serious kind of humorless person. Which always struck me as odd that she would pursue a career as a personality. It's bizarre to me and I think about it every time I watch her talk.

Yes! Carrie is the WORST. As time passes I've grown to like the other 3 women way more, while Carrie just gets increasingly awful everytime I watch a re-run. I hope there aren't really adults like that out in the real world...she (the character) has the perspective (and personality) of a 14 year old.
