only problem is this time around they have your phone as well... :O

man, dyson kick so much ass

but there has already been proof that they made an ipad app, you could activate it from the code in the iphone one and it would run if your phone was jailbroken, but they killed it shortly after if i remember. its just weird that they havent released it..

i'd say out of the 20 people i message on a regular basis.. there are 2 that don't have an iphone. imessage will be great for me because it will just be there on all my friends phones and we wont have to bother with adding each other to all the competing services.

hahah are you seriously glorifying smoking? jesus christ. hell.. i'm a smoker and have been for 10 years, and i think this is out of line. if your smart phone is causing you social problems, thats your fault, not the devices.

i personally like the 2nd one the best out of all these mockups. one thing i really do hope they keep is a completely flat horizontal edge on one side like on the iphone 4. i've become quite fond on propping my iphone 4 up on its side and watching netflix while trying to pass out and friends houses etc.

i'm calling totally fake on it. i can't put my finger on it, but something is very off about everything in those 'pages' they're showing, most likely the font. while its a good fake, it doesn't look very real or convincing to me.

Sorry, I am a complete and lazy asshole when it comes to grammar and punctuation on the internet. Since you weren't a total ass about it and actually replied to the comment instead of shooting me down, I did my best to make this comment as correct as possible.

yeah seriously... chat would be infinitely more useful. even a combination of messages/chat like the website has would be better, that way you could actually see who is online. the people i know pay far less attention to fb messages they receive when they're offline vs the chat windows that actually pop up.

you do raise a good point about other countries, but if you're truly trying to start a revolution, doing it on a website with a known history of flimsy privacy ethics is a pretty poor place to do it.

oh come on, this is getting ridiculous now. that video plays like something out of a lame-ass movie. sure it is funny to watch anon fuck with people/companies/organizations that are actually doing bad things, but facebook is only doing what everyone agreed to in the first place.

if it works like their regular iphone app works, i'd say the competition has nothing to worry about

honestly i prefer the touchscreen keyboard. call me crazy, but after 3 years of having an iphone, i've gotten so used to it that i find it harder to type on a physical phone keyboard now

still drunk off sailor jerry from last night... great stuff

just like i'm breaking a bunch of copyright laws right now..

2011's version of grabbing the remote from the other cable box

kind of a weird picture choice, the canadian netflix doesn't do dvds...

well there were clear advantages to migrating to FB from myspace... with google+ i can't really think of any.

in my experience, no one gives a shit about google+ and i can't give them a reason why they should. like others have said, there are too many barriers for entry, then you have to set up your circles, which the average lazy asshole doesn't want to do... then you have to re-add everyone you know.

come on, gizmodo itself is guilty of having some really annoying ads some of the time. depending on how intrusive and frequent these ads are i really don't see this as that big of a deal. considering how much functionality facebook provides to millions of people i'm surprised this hasn't happened already.
