Well, the NY Times seems to be on a kick where it really likes to lecture its readers on how it’s supposed to listen to bigots and people who deny reality, so praising an interview with Jones totally fits where it is.

NBC has been purposefully trying to capture a right leaning audience for years. They flip flopped on Trump after the “Mexicans are rapists” debacle because they anticipated that, when Trump lost the presidency, he could make them lots of money.
