Can confirm that if you’re playing in person, he’ll just be switched to another character. You also have the ability to revive fallen members, so he can just cry until he helps you as a second option.  :)

Congrats! D&D is the best and you picked one of the most fun classes to play as. My advice for your first game would be:

Five months of the year working (mostly) wherever as long as I could overlap time with the main office. Sent an email with a bunch of salaries and numbers and encountered no resistance.
