From what I've seen, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, the Duggar boys and girls do seem to receive the same level of education. None of them are enrolled in college courses that we know of (that "College Plus" thing they were hawking doesn't count, it's just a CLEP coaching program) and as far as I can tell

Because when you have a child you have a responsibility to that child to provide him or her with the resources necessary to become a productive member of society, to the best of your ability. The Duggars actively discourage creativity, independence and critical thinking. They are not preparing their children for

They don't really educate their sons either, though. I guess at least in that respect they are pretty equal-(lack of)-opportunity.

Arrgh, this is one of the things that aggravates me the most about them. All those kids, and multiple dishwashers (including at least one industrial dishwasher, paid for by TLC), and they still use styrofoam or paper plates for every meal! Not only that, but they have a styrofoam cup dispenser in their kitchen. So

Fair enough, but it's not that it's just bad or messy handwriting, it's that it's very immature handwriting for their ages. As I said, I was only using it as one example. If you watch the show you'll see lots more, like six-year-old Jackson asking if "monkey" starts with the letter J.

It will take more than courage. They will need tons of remedial schooling as well as a way to support themselves while they are working on that. The younger kids especially are functionally illiterate- as an example, look for handwriting samples (people have posted pictures of autographs or handwritten notes). The

Not really- part of their ideology is that they are NOT allowed to get normal jobs, because they may end up having someone who doesn't share their belief system (or worse, a WOMAN) in a position of authority over them. They are all expected to start their own businesses or work in their family business. That's why

They still had them at Target today. I bought 3 bags. I should go back for more.

Edit: double post. Argh Kinja.

78 hours a week is "a few"?

This spot right here creeps me out. Looks painful!

I thought so too.

Sure, if you call nearly 75 hours a week "a few."

You can still rock a tutu. Go ahead, put one on and have fun!

...Ronnie James Dio?

He's such a chameleon. I remember when he was on Malcolm in the Middle I didn't really think that much about him til one night I saw him on Letterman and I was like WHOA. It took me forever to realize he was Tim Whatley on Seinfeld, too.

Elegant Loofa, hands down. If I'm being honest though I'd only be able to handle wearing the face net part for 5 minutes or so before clawing that sucker off.
