I also live below the poverty line and a fuck off fund is/would be a luxury. What I would love is some financial institution or insurer to start catering to this market and maybe do a community emergency fund that collects interests to help pay emergency bills(ie car repairs, emergency dental/medical..etc).

As someone who has worked with survivors of domestic violence and as someone who is below the poverty line (because I chose a career that works with survivors of domestic violence), these articles feel like such a heavy “should” that so many can't accomplish. I declared early in my viewing of the series that he had a slappable face and made his appearances much more bearable by yelling “slap” each and every time he deserved it. I hope he felt it at least a little.
