What I think of when I think of “white people” and “culture.”

I work in a warehouse, and the emotional strength I have to have to brush off every sexist comment I get is staggering :/ I had a a KID ask me if I needed help with the forklift....

I could go on and on about how naive you are but I’ll go ahead and give you some anecdotal evidence to chew on. I am a woman, I am strong in all aspects of my being. Every single one of my coworkers are men, and I can do every single one of their jobs, and then some. In fact, I often do that!!! I earn, on average, $5

No. Computer programming used to pay poorly... when it was considered a clerical job that was mostly done by women. When men took an interest and pushed women out of the field, suddenly it was a skilled job that paid very well. Conversely, jobs that used to be done primarily by men that become “women’s” jobs will see

I work in a blue collar male dominated field out of choice. I’ve moved a decent bit but in every place I work I take on managerial roles. In my current position, I manage men 20 years older than me and well, male. I get blow back. But the fact of the matter is that in my field, landscaping/gardening, I am never not
