But isn’t if funny how they were vaccinated (as children of course) and they turned out fine. Well...”fine” as much that pertains to her.

Completely agree. Giving her any kind of a platform contributes to her normalization, just as Jimmy Fallon’s infamous ruffling of Covfefe’s hair made him seem like any old grandpa, instead of the racist narcissist he actually is.
This lets not give the woman that got her medical degree from Singled Out university another chance to “educate” the masses.
I’m shocked that Jenny McCarthy can even read. I picture her sitting in some dark room with Donnie listening to bootleg podcasts with a picture of Bill Gates with an “X” through it.
Seeing a lot of folks saying not asking her was the right call, because it would have provided a platform for her anti-science nonsense. I agree. However, I’d go even further - don’t have her on at all. Then you don’t have to worry about asking her/not asking her.
This is exactly what would have happened. I’m not sure if Rich actually thinks that asking her about vaccinations on TV would accomplish anything other than the spread of disinformation, or if he thinks the shot at a “gotcha” moment is worth said spread of disinformation, but either way his take here is utterly…
I would’ve loved to hear McCarthy’s response. Ultimately, I think that was the right move. Otherwise, Barrymore would just be giving her a platform to publicize her anti-vax nonsense and unfortunately, affirm and/or influence people to not get the vaccine.
I think asking her that would have just given her an opportunity to spread misinformation about the vaccine so it’s probably best she wasn’t asked. No need to give anti-vaxers more of a platform to spread their lies, especially when it sounds like interest in the vaccine is starting to plateau here in America.
Assuming Trump and Barr don’t steal the election, I’m increasingly convinced that future political scientists will study 2020 as a case study for how to shoot yourself in the foot.
Chris Evans has been really open about his struggles with anxiety and I just honestly felt bad for him. It was a fuck-up anyone could have made, and I found it genuinely sweet that so many people started flooding Twitter with pictures of him and his dog to drown out the earlier tweets.
Saw a documentary where a cannibal was asked what human tasted like. He said that pig was really good but human was off the chain. My words not his. But that’s the way it came across to me.
Nice
An appropriate suspension for Gronk would be 1 game, plus the first 9 minutes of the following game.
If you watch him with any regularity, it’s par for the course. Never understand why people find him charming. He’s a massive asshole, who, if you ever dealt with him in any context outside of him being a professional football player, you would hate him.
Your gonna need something to cut the grease. Mint sauce?
I always assumed people was more beef-like than chicken or pork.... Perhaps we shall soon find out. I’m a great cook so I look forward to expanding my food horizons.
We wouldn’t get the same unhinged nonsense as we do with Trump, and I don’t think he would be as potentially destabilizing to the global balance of power because of that nonsense, but he would absolutely coordinate all kinds of horrible legislation and appoint terrible judges. Pence is a right-wing religious…
The mask is off the party of “family values” so for that, I’m grateful. They’ve shown themselves to be complete phonies and destroyed what little moral authority they had left, as have the evangelical leaders like Franklin Graham Jr. They’ve all destroyed themselves, even if they don’t know it now.
I like this a lot; I wish they’d pushed it farther.
