Chris Collins is my congressman, and it’s one of the things I’m calling him every day about. We had a massive industrial fire last Wednesday, and many people were evacuated. The smoke blew over to part of his district and we had a shelter-in-place while the EPA monitored the air.

Life on Earth will survive anything we throw at it. It will adapt, eventually. We will not survive what we throw at it. And most of the flora and fauna will not survive. But life itself will.

I’ve convinced myself yes, if only to feel better about the country. I don’t know though.

That is (was?) one of my fave documentaries. I’ve had it saved on my DVR for years. I also bought Hitler: Ascent and was waiting until after the election to read it, but now I know it’ll just freak me out.
