You forgot #56, Sandra Pittman of Sandra’s Next Generation. https://thetableunderground.com/the-table-underground/2021/9/9/sandras-next-generation-soul-food-telling-their-story

She was traded not fired. She still gets paid. Saying she can’t get traded while pregnant is ridiculous.

Welcome to the real world, the same one as the NBA where players are blindsided by trades all the time.

Typical blueanon conspiracy theorists

They do that every fuckin’ time.

I’m surprised you didn’t include Joe Rogan and began with...love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Joe Rogan....

JFC, those twitter comments are crab mentality at its worst

Twitter profit off of the backs of something Black people created.”

You need to calm down. I like Stephen A. He does annoy the hell out of me sometimes. This was no big deal. It was an unnecessary comment but he wasn’t trying to be disrespectful.

Another option is for parents to raise their children better and teach them not to take things that don’t belong to them. But that’s probably impossible in a society where being able to see an opportunity to screw someone over to your benefit, is seen as seen as proof that you’re smarter and better than they are.

I eat my bagels with cream cheese, so I usually just sprinkle some Everything on to the cream cheese. Even if it’s already an everything bagel.

The headline says, “Colorado College Professor,” but then the post says, “Columbia College Science Professor Natalie Gosnell is making headlines . . . .”  Which institution is she a professor at?

Is this news? She’s talking about an art piece and complaining about the exactness of science. If she was going to talk about the white nerd culture of astrophysics, that would have made sense. But science is not about grey areas (except maybe quantum physics). Also, since when is perfectionism and individual

Remember, this is The Root. The same study that pointed out the differences, also gave a list of causes for this, this information just isn’t included. Possibly because it doesn’t make this a racist issue.

This article is so uninformed. Where do you think the electricity for electric stoves comes from? Any idea how inefficient it is to generate and then transport electricity, as opposed to using it directly at the source? This is less true for a stove where a lot of the heat is wasted. But for heating a home, a gas

Most (all?) commercial carpet deodarizer products are mostly baking soda.  People have been using it for decades on carpets, with no problem.  I suspect the issue now is that weak robot and stick vacuums have become so popular.

People have vacuum cleaners that are not powerful enough to lift small particles slightly larger than dust? That’s generally what vacuums do best.  The problem is a poor vacuum, not the use of baking soda.

This sounds like someone that has never owned a gas stove/cooktop.

Electric stoves definitely do not heat up faster than gas stoves. No way. Induction stoves may heat pans up very quickly, but electric coils and glass cooktops take forever. (And this article sort of conflates induction and electric even though they should be considered different things for so many reasons, not the

I must admit that it’s a quiet Friday afternoon for me, so I did a little searching on this site to see what’s been written about stoves in the past. I do want to switch from gas to induction when it becomes possible for me, so I’m not anti-electric. What I don’t want is a traditional electric stove. This article

Gas appliances were not invented yesterday. We have gazillions of years of experience with gas stoves, gas furnaces, oil furnaces, wood burning boilers and on and on. As risks in the home go, modern gas stoves/ovens are well towards the bottom of the list. Careless use does not discriminate between electric, gas or
