Protecting an abuser is hurting (in this instance) a child.

I don't wear a bra to "prevent sagging". I wear a bra to keep these fuckers under control.

New Zealand didn't even rank? Are you telling me I'm alone on this?

I started using Dashlane, tried LastPass, and then went back to Dashlane (for a few reasons, though I did like a lot about LastPass). Both transitions were really easy, only took a few minutes.

Dashlane has a web interface. You can't use it as seamlessly as when it is installed on the computer, but you can access your passwords.

Life is not fair, sometimes.

When I was in college, my only accommodation was for testing - I took tests in a separate, quiet room and could use as much time as I needed. Now that I'm in the work force, I don't have tests. So that's pretty much that.

They may ask for reasonable accommodations, which are protected by the ADA. I'd also point out that college and work are in many ways quite different. I've never had anything like an exam at work, so I can simply plan my day, prioritize in a way that allows me to finish my work on time, and ask for help as needed.

2) Sexual abuse does not cause mental illness. The idea that women in particular will literally become mentally ill because of rape or abuse is sexist and is absolutely incorrect. Trauma can complicate underlying mental health problems, but it does not cause them.

By cage, I meant the individual cell. Protective custody for vulnerable prisoners is a common practice.

They locked someone in a cage with another person who has been convicted of rape and kidnapping. That in and of itself is bad enough - they were basically enabling him. The fact that the other inmate in question was a particularly vulnerable person is sickening.

He's 24 now, and they have two kids.

According to their Twitter account, they submitted the update earlier today!

She was forced into porn as a last resort to pay for school.

I live in NYC and still run into this issue. Finding a therapist who is taking new patients, accepts insurance, and doesn't suck is harder than finding a unicorn. Especially with "problem" diagnoses.
