This is nothing new. My question is, what are people going to do about it? Insurances, banking, and investing are in each other’s pockets along with government so everyone just pats each other on the back when a disaster hits about all the good work they have done and people end up screwed over.

Having lived in two horrid housing markets (NYC and DC) and almost a third (SF), I always see this happening. Nobody wants Section 8 housing (the ‘not in my back yard’ crowd) and developers only want to build upper middle class housing so they can gorge people who have taken massive housing inflation as a given.

This show will be crap unless it has a #FancyKristen segment!

I agree completely though not many see it that way. My fun car is paid in full and I only use money that I have in excess to build it (never credit except for the points). Couldnt agree more about using autox as a way to understand your car better. For $35-50 you can learn your car’s limits and have a bit of fun. I plan on doing it with my kid(s) whenever I get around to having them.

If they move to single payor then the government will have to vastly change how they regulate and pay providers.
