Jesus christ you did even worse this time, dropped that name in 1994
Let’s give it another try
It hasn’t been called CSFB in about 10 years grandpa...
Which wars?
You’re so full of shit.
When are you going to call attention to the disproportionate share of violent crimes committed by those human beings?
Don’t worry, nobody is going to marry your anyway.
Jesus isn’t going to help you, or your dead savages get some free gold. Jesus is powerless here.
So what you just said is that I’m right and the Spanish are the only ones with a legal claim on the treasure. Glad we can agree on that.
Sorry are you talking to me or are you just retarded? Your response makes no sense given the context of my comment. Try to speak in full sentences, that’s what adults do.
Doesn’t mean that it does. Borders were famously fluid back then. Go ahead and try to prove the Spanish extracted the gold from what was legally the natives land.
You put in the work, you get the rewards. The natives were always there but it took Spanish skill, logistics, and management to get it out. That’s why its…
Seeing you grasp at straws to prove the point you don’t have just warms my heart. You are so desperate. Nice strawman though, you put a lot of thought into that one and it seems like you’re speaking from experience and more than a little bitterness. Care to share?
Because it would be impossible to trace the descendants of an illiterate people who didn’t even register births. Also, because logistical and managerial work is a lot more significant in getting it out of the ground and across the continent and onto ships than the idiots doing the manual labor. There’s very good…
Without them it wouldn’t have come out of the ground. They put in the greatest amount of effort, they get the claim.
If we know better now, wouldn’t you be a subject of the british crown? You’ve got some pretty selective memory regarding history there. Hell, why stop there, at one point rome controlled most of southern europe. Those pesky barbarians and their illegal revolts. Should we give it all to italy now?
Pawn shop won’t give you more than the value of the gold unless provenance can be proven, they’ll just end up melting it down for the gold value. So do it yourself and make sure it can’t be traced.
Your best bet to avoid getting caught is just to melt it down and sell for the value of the gold. It sucks, because you’ll lose a majority of the value, but its really the only way to avoid getting caught. Antiques of such a unique nature will always find their way to someone who will wonder about their provenance…
That kind of logic only happens in your imagination. In the real world the current Spanish government has no responsibility for the actions of the spanish crown 300 years ago.
