Definitely not projecting. It’s just infuriating that you and some other commenters have decided to be the judges of what acceptable “extenuating circumstances” are for someone giving up their pets. I already replied to MissAndry about this, but sometimes people have to move and legitimately can’t take their pets. I was lucky enough to find an excellent new home for my cat, and that doesn’t make me a bad person.
