Unfortunately, it’s pretty easy for the location of a relatively minor leak to turn the thing into a catastrophe. Glad that you found that before things got worse and much more gross.

CPVC is an improvement for drain applications, but even then, the temp rating goes up to 200 F (over the 140 F for PVC) which is still below the temp of boiling water. There are reasons that metal pipes typically aren’t used for drains. The ONE fucking rule with either of the plastics is to not pour boiling water down

The average age of a house in the US is ~35 yrs. You should be using a pasta/blanching basket. I don’t pour boiling water down my drain. Just because it’s the easiest route doesn’t mean it’s the right one.

It’s insane how natural this looks on Bielema and McElwain.

RTR!

I’d be happy with the whole family disappearing at once.

...or boiling water with salt.

I refuse to buy both out of fear that I’ll be mistaken for an Auburn fan.

I don’t compete to be a good sportsman. I compete to beat the shit out of you. If you end up angry, crying, upset, humiliated, or otherwise hurt, that’s icing.

For me, the entire car is ruined by the two innermost lines on the hood.

Many miles on that odometer.

right right right

We’re kinda in the same boat. I had a couple of Hondas but MY switch to BMW was mostly because it’s harder to justify driving like an absolute maniac when breaking things is much more costly.

I was given a brand new ‘04 in silver, and I absolutely loved that car. It was a blast to drive, I’d made some minor modifications, and the shifter placement garnered much attention, especially from police officers during traffic stops. I drove it for 3 or 4 years, then totaled it. I’m not a gymnast and don’t know

I’m guessing it goes in the $40 MM range.

I’ve been playing around with it the last couple of days and I’m not looking forward to it going live.

Why didn’t everyone just stomp that fuck out? This is a perfect excuse for mob violence.

What broke while you were testing?

I commented on Skay’s post before I read yours. I got a Chrysler 200 in Vegas. During my trip, I drove to Glendale and back in one day (10 hrs). I’d have preferred slithering on my belly to driving that thing, but time would have been an issue.

I was hoping for a lovely lady with a Chrysler 200 because there is literally nothing to like about that car.
