I’ve been saying this for years.... let Obsidian take the franchise. New Vegas was still buggy, no doubt, but it was a better game than Fallout 3, 4, and 76 in many people’s opinion.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! We have been entirely too lenient with Bethesda. Bethesda was always given the benefit of the doubt, we knew the games would arrive buggy, kind of chuckled it off, and after years of this practice, it’s “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.”  This time, though, most

You’re right, instead of being “awful and whiney” about a poor condition product, the customer should be thankful for their shit sandwich, take a big bite, and just smile! Ungrateful jerks!

USPS currently gets no direct taxpayer money but was most certainly funded in part by taxpayer dollars until 1982. They do get subsidies from the taxpayers though, singing to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. They are mostly self-sufficient through sales of stamps and loans, but they most definitely received

In northern climates where you have 4 seasons, buy both a set of summer and winter wiper blades and swap them out when you change your tires/wheels (around the time when average temps pivot around the 45ºF mark). At the end of each season (or more frequently), wipe down your wiper blades with a clean microfiber cloth

Harsh, but true...  At some point the customer has to speak with their wallet and walk away from a company.  It’s the exception rather than the rule that expressing concerns verbally will result in compensation.  The only real way for a company to change is to take away their profits and walk away.

True. They should just give the franchise to Obsidian. New Vegas had bugs, but it had such depth and fun to it.  The DLCs added SO MUCH content!

In 99.9999% of cases you, as a customer support rep, would be beneath the pay grade required to make the call to offer a $30 credit/refund and make things right by offering a truly appropriate response as typed. You would follow the script provided to you, which in most cases would be far inferior to the appropriate

FTFY

I really hope that this all boils down to a massive rush on all fronts to hit a deadline rather than the absolute lack of care or customer service that Bethesda seems to have at nearly every aspect of their business aside from their own bottom line. I know there isn’t some pushy overlord rushing them to market like

True, but could the same not be said for many of Nintendo and Microsoft’s exclusives? Linear single player stories don’t lend themselves very well to replay. Playing through several great exclusive games one time each is a viable reason to sway a consumer into buying into a gaming platform.

I’d never heard of it before, but glad I’m on PS+ to try it out.  Looks fun!

What about the people who are primarily PC gamers? If they’re looking at getting a console, the primary draw is going to be exclusives because every other game will be available and typically run and look better on the PC.  Those people are buying the console just to play those exclusives, and Sony wins that fight

Even brand new games aren’t required to contain optimization for PS4 Pro, and even if they do have optimizations, they’re not going to be world-changing. The consumer has to decide whether the possibility of improved performance with the PS4 warrants the excessive increase in price.

Right? For every dollar a man spends on supporting and treating a woman, she will return the favor in far smaller magnitude. MAYBE. So sick of this “what’s mine is mine and what yours is mine” mentality.

God forbid someone asks another person out on a date!  They should be locked up and given forty lashes!

The deal won’t be as large, rumor has it the Pro will be $349 instead of $399.  It would end up being a $150 premium over the current Slim bundle.  Not getting twice the performance for nearly twice the price.

I don’t remember where I heard it, but I saw that speculation was at best a drop to $349.99 for some sort of holiday sale, so no, that would not be an equal drop. If I remember correctly, the price in Japan for the Pro was recently or will soon be dropped to $349.99 permanently, but there has been no news of this

From a dollar to performance perspective, even a PS4 Pro bundle on sale at $349 doesn’t compare to the PS4 Slim at $199. To go with the Pro, you need to spend an additional $150 at minimum. Nearly double the price? you’re not magically going to get 60fps across the board instead of 30fps. Not all games are coded to tak
