Damn, bummer... Had they included Castlevania SOTN and/or Brave Fencer Musashi as some had speculated, it would be worth the price (since the used copies of those games are pricey). I get that the remakes of Spyro and Crash are a thing, but I find it very hard to believe that a PS1 Classic console wouldn’t include

Brings to mind the brain surgeons who slam on the brakes, go into the breakdown lane or shoulder, and then slam their car in fucking reverse on the HIGHWAY because they missed their exit.  Take the next damn exit and hop back on the highway in the opposite direction!

Makeup is an artificial combination of shades applied to the face and neck for the purpose of increasing one’s attractiveness. At that level, you can say that a beard is like makeup, in that it is styled and kept to improve a man’s appearance. There is, however, a difference between the two as one is natural hair that

Running a comb through hair or a beard is not equivalent to applying various powders to the skin to achieve differing effects.  The hair naturally grows out of the body.  The root of the look is natural.  The human body grows hair.  The human body does not produce many of the pigments and shades applied to the human

All people are judged on their looks 24-7.

Not if they have Platinum Angel ;)

Since when are gamers only exposed to content created after their birth? This article and the title make it seem like it’s a feat in and of itself that a developer would be inspired by games “before their time”. Big whoop, most people who like games dig into the past of gaming whether they grew up with classics or

This writer pissed away the opportunity to offer a great tip.  Don’t continue topping off your gas tank after it has filled.  Once the pump nozzle kicks, shake off the last couple drips and hang it back up.  Several vehicles make use of an evap system that can be destroyed by topping off the gas tank.

Unless you’re in an extreme situation where you cannot see through your windshield at all, you should never use the communal gas station squeegee and filth bucket on your car unless you hate it. All you’re doing is putting filth and grime onto your windshield.

That’s if you’re talking about using a physical 32X on this console like you can do with the SegaCD. I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about them coding the functionality of the 32X into the FPGA so that just like the Genesis carts, you would just plug the 32X carts directly into the console. The 32X hardware

Sucks.  I left my 8BitDo NES30Pro behind a long time ago and switched to a Steelseries controller.  Better thumb sticks, better buttons overall, painless pairing, and far better compatibility with games and emulators without additional configuration.

That shouldn’t be the case.  The 32X had to have the Genesis video passed through it because neither the Genesis nor the 32X processed everything.  The two had their own pieces of the game to process and add to the whole “picture”, if you will.  If the FPGA were programmed to simply process the Genesis and 32X

Likely have to pull out the mushroom attachment to enjoy it.  I can’t imagine them being able to program the FPGA to mimic the additional capabilities of the 32X.

Has little to do with connections and more to do with productions numbers and parts availability.  Those Yamaha chips are going to come at a premium and the market for this type of boutique console are just that: boutique.

Should be a solid no, unless they manage to program the FPGA to handle the 32X’s workload. The original required the additional power to support the add-on’s chips, so who knows if it’s possible. The cartridges are barely any different as far as dimensions.

Yeah, the good Model1 system with the clearer sound goes for minimum $80 used.  Combine that with the HDMI out and other included features and it’s hard to beat.

At first I was sad that I had bought a model 1 Genesis and 32x earlier this year... and then I realized that this console wouldn’t play my 32x games.  The image will be clearer from this Analogue system and the audio will be cleaner than my Model 1 with the inferior sound chip, but I only paid about $100 bucks for my

I’ve had my game library running on my SSHD for 3 years now without any issues. S.M.A.R.T. checks out ok and there are no signs of potential data issues. Though they say you can defrag an SSHD, I disable automatic defragmentation to ensure the SSD segment doesn’t get hosed. Assuming the SSHD isn’t used as a primary

I use a 2TB SSHD as a dedicated game library myself. Vast majority of my Steam library rarely gets touched, so I find that the performance of the SSD cache paired with the mechanical drive meets the needs of 90% of my games, and for the 10% where drive performance is more critical, I install them on my C: SSD until
