Central Alberta, my friend. Normally we live with -15 to -20C for a couple of months and then a couple of weeks of really cold. Last week, we had two nights where the air temp was -46C and -51C with the wind chill.

The heater doesn't warm cold leather. Just to see, I let my truck run for 10 min yesterday morning. Outside it was -33C, inside air temp from the heater was comfy. The seats were frozen blocks of slidey, leather torture.
It's been -30C (-22 in American) for a week here. I'd,love some heated seats.

We are diverting arable land that can be used for food production to producing the corn for fuel. It's the same as if a developer builds a subdivision on a quarter-section of crop land; which happens all the time around here.
