I thought the same thing!

Well why would they show the same exact scene again? Last we saw, they started moving the herd and Sam said "Mom". We return to them in this episode continuing to walk through the herd and Sam stopped saying "Mom". It doesn't mean the last scene didn't happen.

Thank you for sharing my views COMPLETELY! I often find my self agreeing with all of your posts, including those about SOA. Definitely one of the best episodes in the entire series so far.

1- that's the idea of a cliffhanger, they wanted you to think that Sam saying "Mom" was going to blow their cover, which it did, just not at that exact moment. Just giving you a hint that he will probably screw it up for everyone.

Zack, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed and underwhelmed by your review. You make a few fair points but can we please keep in mind that this is still a TV show, meaning it is built for entertaining in addition to telling a story. I think it does both brilliantly but that's my opinion. The walkers are a "plot

Not sure how I missed it, but can someone explain how the Wolf became untied? I was so concentrated on Carol & Morgan that I didn't catch it. He was tied when Denise was alone with him.

The music in this episode has been the best yet on a series that always kills it with their song choices and covers. Even though White Lines was a bit on the nose, was still such a jolt- pun intended . That cover of I Promise sucked you into that scene And how can you ever go wrong with a surprise like an Olivia

I thought that at first too but the guy in the video says to Allison" That's our baby". So wouldn't that be Cole saying that to Allison. Did I miss something???

I'm confused by this part of the review:
"For once it felt like the present-day scenes completely tied into the
narrative of the rest of the episode. Obviously Scotty thought Alison
and Noah’s child was Cole’s baby. Very curious to see if this turns out
to be the case."

Completely agree with you.

Isn't Cairo also the name of a town in upstate NY that was mentioned in Season (1)? Am I imagining that?

I'm wondering if Carrie is somewhat on to Allison? I know the previews for next week show her crying/begging her for help but isn't Carrie smarter than all of this? I also think Otto is definitely up to something.

A few thoughts:
- Isn't this first half of the season all taking place over one day?
- Didn't Carl actually leave the gates? Meaning Ron purposely lied to Rick ?
- What happened to Maggie's knife in the sewer? Why did she not stab it immediately?
-

Ahhh. Interesting. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be as ambiguous as I thought. hahaha

I agree. I would love to know more or see more of our core teams life before the apocalypse. I know we know their stories but more detail would be interesting. I think JCLs performance was incredible. I also think Noah Emmerich would've killed that part. But he already played the CDC doc.

The dude who trained them was Donatello from TMNT, funny enough

Yeah but we have no idea of the timing. Rick could've found his way out with the RV and drove straight to Alexandra, getting there soon after Michonne & crew. Or maybe it's Daryl or Abraham. It did sound like Rick though.

I'm kind of wondering if Glenn returns to Alexandria at some point with similar PTSD that Morgan had and Morgan has to successfully "Eastman" him. It would be crazy to see Glenn in that way but it has been said that the "Glenn we know" no longer exists…

I May have missed it somewhere in the comments but is everyone assuming the voice yelling "open the gates" is Rick?

The previews for TWD are always vague and give nothing away.
