Ew, god please don’t let Zelda go down the same path Assassin’s Creed did.

I really hope they don’t add a skill tree. You have progression in gaining more hearts and Stamina (and now batteries) for character improvement. Link doesn’t need to do 10 quests to learn how to spin his sword around, or slow down time while shooting his bow. No thank you.
> maybe do a fun reference to The Matrix when Neo and Trinity go to save Morpheus and are in the loading program getting guns.
I am so ecstatically thankful that nobody with this mindset was involved in the creation of this film.
Admittedly (and this point gets brought out a lot, so apologies if you’ve heard it before), but Charles Martinet is an actual voice actor who does a pretty big variety of other roles. He narrated the Netflix documentary High Score in his normal speaking voice, for example, as well as Paarthurnax in Skyrim. It’s highly…
Luddites lol. The pseudo-futurist techbro crowd is cute.
You do know that the Luddites were objectively correct, right?
They weren’t anti technology. They feared the harms of technology being used to replace peoples labour, and concentrate wealth into fewer and fewer hands. (https://locusmag.com/2022/01/cory-doctorow-science-fiction-is-a-luddite-literature/)
My problem with arguments from people like you, is that, to you, this is “good enough”. And since it is “good enough”, everything else is just noise you ignore under the pretense of it being whinning or “aimless” or any such excuse.
Ok, let me rephrase: to any sane person with even the barest sense of morals, there is no argument. You. Don't. Get. To. Use. Other. People's. Creations. Without. Their. Express. Permission. End of. I really don't get how this is a difficult concept.
short-sighted, and reeks of people that refuse to adapt to the times
I like how people have watered down the meaning of “outrage” to the point that it’s now just used to describe anyone having any point of view whatsoever.
You think that publishers are going to keep paying people to make the art if they can pay one person to run a few different AI’s to do it all?
Told you that these corporate/tech bro shills are trying to turn creative human labor obsolete through AI. There’s a reason they’re trying to criminalize artists in general - they’re forcing an ‘easy’ and ‘ethical’ narrative that benefits only them. For instance, they call artist “privileged” because they built their…
“Carolyn, you really need to relax. You are reading WAY too deep into some of this shit.”
Yeah Carolyn, how dare you, a trans person, be concerned with the most prominent and influential transphobe in the world making money off of a massively popular IP. How dare you, a video games commentator, comment on video games…
as if anybody has to jump through your hoops to have an opinion
It’s news to me too since I said “play” not “buy.”
And to think, all you would need to do to help them is NOT to play a video game, and you couldn’t even not do that.
You’re mistaken. It’s the developers of this game who have already been paid. You could preorder 1,000 copies and the actual workers won’t see any benefit. Can you guess who is receiving royalties despite having little-to-no involvement in this game’s production?
Funny, I remember a year ago hearing the exact same thing about NFTs.
Now hear me out:
