To Whom My Concern?
That is exactly what she’s saying. And Kourtney, god bless her, sees it immediately and is trying so hard not to laugh.
“Everyone was like, why do you have tampons and I was all WHY NOT I AM STILL VERY YOUNG AND HIP AND MENSTRUATEY AND SEXUALLY VIABLE right, daughter? You think I’ve still got it, cameraman? How about you over there? You? Anyone?”
That looks like an old ass phone. Like it came from the set of Working Girl.
A few more great ones are Fatal Vision and Capturing the Freedmans.
Jeremy’s my favorite character. He used to be this suave guy and now he has to hire improv actors to be his friends. I love it so much.
Unpopular opinion perhaps: I’ve never liked Danny. NEVER. Could not understand why Mindy fell for him. He’s never liked her, and now that the his lust and need to win her are relaxing, the douchecanoe he’s always been and the contempt he has for her are on full display. It’s super close to IRL situations I’ve…
Don’t forget the line that her mother said about her father “He’s the only professor that doesn’t hold office hours. Because he gets it right the first time.”
The best thing about The Mindy Project, despite the spotty pacing and structure are the AMAZING one liners.
Remember when he attempted anal by surprise b/c he lacked the capacity to just, you know, ask if she was into it?
Danny has been the worst since the beginning, and has somehow gotten event worst-er. After the last few weeks it looked like Mindy might leave him, but that’s such an unusual event for a tv show that I wasn’t sure it could happen. I really hope it stays this way.
Disliking popular things doesn’t make you more interesting.
you know that Adam Levine has one of those voicemails where he says “hello?” And pauses and makes you think he actually answered the phone and then he says “just playin you know what to do”
“He’s had the entire upper third of his face worked on, and the result is he looks more like Jack Nicholson‘s Joker than Batman,” Dr. Back said.
Oh you can google a bunch of articles about it. All the main actors and the director were talking about it on their 10th anniversary get together. Here’s a quote from Bill Murray about it.
Right To Remain SilentI’m a huge TAL fan - I’ve listened to nearly every episode. When I was in my 3rd year of law school, in 2009-10, I took a clinic which means that I practiced as a student attorney for law school credit. We defended misdemeanor defendants in the Bronx and we focused on the growing number of…
Bet you didnt expect this kind of response to your post, lol.
Thanks for reminding me about Petty Tyrant. I’m not an avid TAL listener, but that story was absolutely insane and memorable.
I thought Lost In Translation was about a couple ass holes who have no friends, that’s why they hangout. Did I get it wrong?
