Real. I have found myself jumping into Dirt Bag conversations to defend Kim and Kanye on more occasions than I can remember, and I'm not particularly a fan of either.

I hear you. The stigma really compounds those problems, though. Say, for example, that a woman wants to quit the industry because she is being or has been abused by her coworkers. Leaving only to encounter disregard (at best) because of your prior career choices isn't a very appealing option. Devil you know, etc.

I'm sorry! There are many other things for which I know and love Canada: maple leaves, the Kids in the Hall, the pronunciation of the word "Quebecois," e.g., but the list goes on!

I really hope that rumor is true, because Katy Perry and John Meyer are perfect together. They're like the U.S.'s Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger.

I was never a huge Jian Ghomeshi fan, but I think it would be a shame to scrub the archives. Q was (and is) a well produced, interesting show that features great interviews with diverse artists. I understand much more the decision to take, e.g., The Cosby Show and 7th Heaven reruns off the air; reruns of Q, on the

Aren't there pretty specific criteria for involuntarily committing someone to a hospital? I thought it was only allowed if one is a danger to oneself or others. Maybe unhinged rants about killing the president don't count if you don't have access to the president himself.

For real. I've said this before on Jez, but I don't understand why people like Dlisted. I blush and feel bad about myself every time I read it.

Omg I'm a day late but what blind items??

She's not complaining about her parents being mean. She's talking about instilling a good work ethic in your children, regardless of how wealthy you are.

Is Candace Cameron Bure wearing a t-shirt that says, "I love Mondays"? That is insufferable. I will not tolerate it.

I think the last thing I saw her in was The Illusionist, in which—if memory serves correctly—she played an animate two-by-four. But mostly I was thinking of stuff like this, when she said she was too pretty to get good roles.

In late 1999/early 2000, Biel ... had reportedly become frustrated with her lack of offers for film roles.

Retta is fucking awesome.

Yeah, three cheers for police brutality! /sarcasm
