Wrong. Longer executions give more health, shorter executions kill quicker. Have YOU played the game? And try telling me gear doesn’t matter when I’m getting double teamed in dominion and the enemy still gets revenge before I do because of their purple revenge gear.

You must be new to video games, because this level of grinding was never the norm for anything but MMO’s and F2P games. It still isn’t the norm for games made by companies less shitty than Ubisoft. You can continue to defend shitty business models, meanwhile I’ll switch back to games like titanfall 2 and overwatch

People say this and yet I’ve never actually seen any evidence to back it up. Whats really happening is that game companies are just making more and more money than ever before and are selling more copies than ever before.

Couple reasons. Since you clearly don’t own this game I’ll explain them:

Fun, cosmetic shit like this used to be free in games, now it is not. This pisses people off. It’s really that simple. Maybe you’ll change your tune when you see the prices for new characters and realize how many hundreds of hours you’ll need to play to get them for “free.”

The thing is, Ubisoft said everything would be earnable through regular play, but that you could buy steel if you had no time to play.

Good, don’t. You are saving yourself lots of frustration. Maybe come back in 6 months and buy it used, or buy, play and return so Ubi doesn’t get a cent.

The problem is, this pricing model will never fail. Companies can just make a $60 game, slap an extra price tag on some content they’ve already spent the man hours to make, and if even a couple dozen people buy it, it’s pure extra profit. Companies will simply never lose money on selling extra in game content, UNLESS

I just had two dominion games crash right at the end today. But hey, at least they didn’t disconnect!

And all the mindless drones will say to that is “it’s just cosmetic!”

You want to know the difference? Overwatch WORKS and has a steady stream of actually free content. There is literally only one microtransaction: loot boxes.

Exactly this. The player is constantly bombarded with ads to spend cash, cool shit is shoved in their faces and then locked behind a massive price tag, it’s a predatory F2P environment through and through, and all the idiots who probably don’t even own the game just say “but nobody’s forcing you to buy anything!”

Because everything in this game is expensive, including non-cosmetics, and takes hours and hours to grind for, making them virtually unaffordable unless you pay cash. And all the while the game itself is riddled with bugs, crashes, and disconnects. The very fact that cool new content is being sold for cash in a

That’s exactly the problem. For Honor isn’t an MMO. It’s a a $60 multiplayer game that doesn’t even have its own servers, and yet the players are being treated to MMO levels of monetization.

Terrible analogy. It’s not just the emotes, everything in this game costs insane amounts of steel to pressure you into paying real money. A much more fitting analogy would be paying $60 for a three course meal and then being served that meal on paper plates with plastic forks. Yes you can still eat it, but part of the

Not just the emotes, the executions, and the loot boxes, both of which affect gameplay, cost tremendous amounts of steel. The whole game is a grindfest, and everywhere you look there’s a price tag, and yet somehow none of this money-grubbing is going towards fixing this broken mess of a game. People have every right

Completely missing the point lol.

That’s why people are pissed. It should be something you can unlock in a couple dozen matches for fun. Instead it takes over 400 matches or $5. People paid $60 for a game and they got a F2P experience.

Excellent film.

You’re lucky. Give it a couple months, see if they fix any of its glaring issues, and then pick it up from somewhere for half off or more, preferably used so Ubisoft doesn’t get a cent. The gameplay is actually mostly enjoyable, literally everything else is a failure.
