As with all things with the Trump administration, you have to look at this through the lens of what is the most nefarious, duplicitous, corrupt, self-serving, and possibly racist explanation, and then take that a few steps further and you’ve got the truth.

We’ve come to know never to expect any respect from city emoyees. Try getting a clerk at City Hall to put her coffee cup down to see what you need and you’ll understand.

Three is the highest number most city residents can count to so there was a limit. People here are used to doing what they want whenever they want. So the emphasis on the dangers of opening fire hydrants are the top problems because no one would think their neighbors have any right to water to put out a fire if not

You need to understand. This is Philadelphia, with the highest percent of city residents living in public or subsidized housing in the country. This is no longer the city of The Philadelphia Story.

I know, right? I thought I was back in the article for about two sentences. Threw me off.

However, as a prior resident, I would venture that, in fact, that is exactly what the officials penning this response are doing: screwing around, philly.

There’s a level on which my favorite part of this is the official press release containing the sentence “We are not screwing around, Philly.”
