Yup, also she SHOWED them her hotel key so it was obvious that she was a guest of the hotel. 

Standing outside in the parking lot at night for over an hour is most definitely suspicious.

The police know that, most times, the system will have their backs when they do things like this, so there is no need for them to change a damn thing. None.

It’s a fucking hotel parking lot. There are going to be people coming and going and milling about in that space all the fucking time, at all hours of the day or night. There’s nothing “suspicious” about being in a hotel parking lot. Nothing, except, being black in said parking lot.

Why is the onus to prevent shit never on the people who are (presumably) trained to de-escalate?
