Looks like the problems kept multiplying for Tribbett, but that's really the Trouble with Tribbetts, isn't it?

I give ESPN an A for treating the sport seriously and with respect- it actually discusses the game and nothing but the game. Unlike the rest of ESPN coverage. It should also get an A for not being about LeBron, Johnny Manziel, LeBron, or anything involving American football

I'm a season ticket holder who sits in the supporters section at Red Bull Arena and we don't have any Neo nazi chants or any racism that I have have ever seen or heard of. Fuck off, it's pretty goddamn easy.

MLS went down the road you're suggesting in the 90s and early 2000s. I'm inclined to think there's a reason they've changed, and a reason why attendance has increased in the time since.

They probably don't have to, since those leagues have been churning out the world's future superstars for generations now.

The US squad did not have nearly enough talent to advance beyond the group stage. We almost stole Belgium the way we stole the Ghana game. But we were outclassed in 3 out of the 4 games we played. Don't blame his tactics. He's just being candid. I appreciate it. The future looks bright

brilliant AND original!!! you're on your way to the top!

Looking at insults toward Americans would be interesting. If you see it tracked somewhere, please share.

Can you run an international sample on what happened when Yanks scored? Especially curious as to the words "fat," "lazy," or "exceptionally good looking."

He did, but he missed it.

Fall on something and fuck yourself

Obama only got through on the 16th attempt. Tim Howard blocked all the other calls.

Root for the Netherlands, and it's a pretty safe bet we'll keep Screamer going. Need a platform to promote Arsenal if nothing else.

Hey look, someone who doesn't read Jezebel.

Wait, who doesn't love messi?

Yeah; we did all of what Olbermann is suggesting from 1996 to about 2004. We had the Kansas City Wiz, rules that FIFA didn't care for, and Dave O'Brien as the lead announcer on a World Cup. We changed for a a reason.

I think the big thing this year, even as someone who doesn't watch football/soccer, is that it's apparent the USA have actually sent a halfway-decent team this tournament who gave it their all. From a European perspective, up until now it's seemed the U.S. participation in the World Cup has been a half-hearted measure.

No horse in this race, my ass. Olbermann's clearly siding with Ann Coulter here.

You know, I understand the point of having seperate male and female sports when they require physical activity, as there are obvious physical differences that make different categories make sense.

Yet here you are, posting on Deadspin and likely getting paid to do so.
