One idea I had was to move the pirates to portland, or. This would give Seattle a closer opponent and great potential for a solid rivalry. Pirates as a mascot even makes more sense there. Granted there might need to be other shifts to make it work... it makes a lot of sense.
No one wants to play in Seattle. There are no close away games and it is a pitcher's park. So basically Seattle has to pay extra for anyone to come there. They might get others to play there now that they have Cano so it might be a little worth it, but who knows.
